I thought this was a cute picture of David and Sandy's cat. Their cat is just so adorable.
I have been having some good times in the Word with the Lord. And the Lord has been renewing my and fine tuning my vision for His Kingdom work. Like Abram in the Old Testament I am going by faith, and doing what I know to do. What I do know to do is to seek the Lord that I may know Him deeper, preach the Gospel to those around me, encourage and exhort my brothers and sisters to do the same, and to praise Him for Who He Is.
As the Perry's go to work during the day, I stay at their home in the peace and quiet and work on a project that I hope to have finished in a couple of months. I meditate on God's Word and spend time with Him. The Lord showed me something just recently. Philippians 1:6 is a beautiful wonderful promise from God. However, I never seen this until just last night. Verse 6 is not a verse to be left by itself. In fact it is the middle of a very long single sentence. Which means it is part of a single thought. So, verses 4, 5, 6, & 7 are all one sentence. They are all related as one continued single thought. If you read these verses, which are one sentence, we learn that God's promise in verse 6 comes to pass when we choose to get involved in someone else's life and (1) pray for them a lot, (2) fellowship with them often, and (3) get in the Bible with them often. You can't have verse 6 without the other instructions in verses 4, 5, & 7. Think about that. Then do it. Find a man or a woman who you can invest prayer, fellowship, and the Word with often.
