God's Authority

Hello everyone! I am sorry that I have not written on here for over a week. I've just not been able to have Internet access while here in Ohio.

I think since I have access today that I will share with you my Quiet Time that I had with the Lord this morning. I was reading in Jeremiah, chapter 30. From there, God led me to Genesis 1:26 and Revelation, chapter 13. I will not get into any controversial details of the verses, but I will share with you a practical application that the Lord encouraged me in. After reading these verses and meditating on them, I simply had to stop and praise God for His awesome plan and for giving me life. We all know that God created us and that by itself is a reason to stop and thank God and praise Him. Then as I thought about His creation, and that we humans are created in "His image", it just seems to me that one praise worthy understanding of "His image" means that whenever another type of life, such as angels, demons, animals, and whatever else may be out there, looks upon a human being, they immediately see an image of the Living All Powerful God of All. God has blessed us to go about and symbolize and represent His Authority and His reign over His territory. For this reason Satan hates us. Wherever we are, we are representing that this territory around us is under the authority and ownership of Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah! What a privilege to know God and to represent Him. Therefore, as a Christian we should daily make it a priority to know Him and His character and His ways and principals. How foolish it is of us to live a life, with such a privilege responsibility, and to erroneously represent God. God has called us to represent Him in truth and in life.
So, God encouraged and exhorted me to (1) know Him more, and (2) to live a life that represent Who He Is.

I hope this exhorts you to do the same. May you and I both go into the New Year with the attitude and the priority to know Jesus more and more that we may represent Him as Who He Is.

By the way, here is a picture of my aunt, mother, and I posing infront of my aunt's Christmas tree last week.
